The Assam Seed Corporation, in public sector is arranging the supply of inputs like seeds, fertilizers, planting materials etc. The corporation supply inputs to the farmers directly and also through the network of private dealers. However, private wholesalers and retailers are arranging most of the inputs needed in the district.

At present ……. wholesalers and retailers are functioning in the district. Dealers numbering 150 are functioning in major town of the district and arranging supply of agriculture machineries and equipments like tractors, power tiller, pump sets etc. A good numbers of private vermi-compost producers are doing business by supplying vermicompost in bulk quantity and through retail sale.
