Functions :

                Deputy Commissioner as the Head of the District Administration is responsible for smooth and effective coordination among various line department which implements a number of development programs and schemes. The District Planning Branch deals with the schemes like MPLADS, MLALADS, Schemes under United Fund., Kalpataru Schemes,  etc. The branch also dealt with the matters of  Education, Health, Matter relating to Town & Country Planning etc.
