Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited the residence of slain SSB jawan Niraj Chetri in Gohpur on 06-06-2019 who was martyred in a naxal attack in Jharkhand's Dumka on May 2. Chief Minister Sonowal paid homage to the brave heart and extended his heartfelt condolences to the jawan's family. Chief Minister Sonowal provided a compensation of twenty lakh rupees to the martyr's family.
