Irrigation helps grow agricultural crops, maintain landscapes, and revegetate disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of inadequate rainfall. This division helps farmer in entire Biswanath District is carried on through different way like Flow Irrigation scheme, Lift Irrigation Scheme, Deep tube well schemes, shallow tube well  Scheme etc.

About the Division:  The Biswanath Chariali Division(Irrigation) , Biswanath Chariali, is situated in Biswanath District on NH-15 Highway near Biswanath Chariali Police station(N 26°44´25´´S,: E 93°08´11´´W).
