The time has come once again for celebrating the biggest festival of democracy - The Lok Sabha Election, 2019.

           Elections provide the opportunity for people to choose representatives who can usher in a change in their lives.  “Right to Vote” is a fundamental right as enshrined in the Constitution of India and as such, it would be a travesty if we the people of India do not exercise this right of universal adult franchise.

          It is generally seen that there is a perception among most of the urban sections in our country that, exercising their franchise would not make any significant change in the way our nation is being administered.  With a view to dispel these negative notions, the Election Commission has over the years devised various innovative strategies to attract Votes across all sections of society and we strongly believe that these measures would go a long way in increasing voters participation in the coming Election.   

      Hence, no vote should go to waste since the vote of every person matters a lot in the process of nation-building and to ensure a healthy and flourishing Democracy.
