Organizational Set-up of the Tezpur Building Division
P.W.D., Tezpur Building Division has a well –organized delegation of authorities, which is headed by the Executive Engineer and supported by several other Engineers and staffs in different stage. The Executive Engineer is the administrative and technical head of the Department. The organization setup of the Division is shown as :
The Division comprises of three nos of Sub-Division : Tezpur Building Sub-Division, Biswanath Chariali Building Sub-Division and Mangaldai Building Sub-Division. Each Sub-Division has a Separate Hierarchical set up headed by the Assistant Executive Engineer and supported by Assistant Engineer , Junior Engineer, Sub-Engineer, S.A. and so on.

Technical Section is headed by a Technical Consultant (T.C.) who is of the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer and assisted by one Assistant Engineer , Two Junior Engineers.
Accounts Section
The accounts Section consists of a accounts officer assisted by a few by A.O. the A.O. is posted to the Division for keeping proper account , check and control of financial matters . the A.O. has to …. And maintain account of the Division and has to Submit the monthly accounts to the AG and to apply preliminary checks to the initial accounts , payment vouchers explendituse etc. the A.O. also works as a financial adviser to the Executive Engineer in the matters of accounts budget estimates , financial rules etc. the divisional accountant is responsible to the Executive Engineer and being the representative of A.G. he is also responsible to same extent to A.G.
General Branch
This Section is headed by a head assistant assisted by a number of junior assistants. Correspondence of the Division is done by General Branch and all records relating to the Division are kept by this Section .
